~ Abigail ~
I taught myself how to tat (using several old instruction books and my great-grandma's metal shuttle) when I was 13 years old. It took months of persistence and practice, but I finally "got it." Since then I've passed on the skill to my three sisters and several friends. I've always been thankful I learned -- it's a very enjoyable way to keep my hands busy!
Though Susanna and I both enjoy music and handwork, our other interests are very different. I'm more of an "indoorsy" person; I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, history, old fashioned things, publishing my magazine to encourage Christian families (visit HW's website here), HTML/making websites, graphic design (my linkware graphics website is here), and more. More about me can be found at my personal website -- A Source of Joy.

~ Susanna ~
Hello! Abigail taught me how to tat when I was 10 years old -- now 11 years ago! Besides tatting, some of my other interests are music, spending time outdoors, working with animals, and horse training. I have four goats: Daffodil, Banjo, Fiddle, and Bednie. I've played the piano since I was 6 and the violin since I was 12. Abigail, Joseph, Lydia, and I have fun playing hymns and folk music together.
Three of my favorite things are: lambing season, milking a goat, and a beautiful spring day. Oh, and playing piano duets with Abigail. :-)

We are the two oldest in a family of six children. We all live on a 160-acre farm that we farm organically. We sell the fresh flour, cereals, and whole grains that we grow. You can see our business website here. Our family has always homeschooled (both of us have graduated), and we love the Lord.
